Jeffrey Osborne, Grammy-nominated singer from Providence, RI, announced his inaugural Celebrity Classic raised $150,000 for the benefiting charities. He distributed the money Tuesday, Oct 16 to the Amos House, Boys & Girls Clubs of Providence, the Rhode Island Philharmonic Music School and the MET School.

Notable athletes and celebrities that attended the August event (held the Carnegie Abbey Club in Portsmouth) included:

Smokey Robinson – Legendary Singer
Joe Morgan – Cincinnati Reds Legend
Andre Tippett – New England Patriots Hall of Famer
Claudia Jordan – Radio host, Celebrity Apprentice, Miss Rhode Island USA ‘97
Eddie Levert – The O’Jays Singer
Pat Riley – President, Miami Heat
John Havlicek – Boston Celtics Legend
Sinbad – comedian
