Bill Norris, Executive Vice PresidentWilliam G. Norris joined Peter Jacobsen Sports in the spring of '07 after more than 11 years at Edelman Sports & Sponsorship Marketing, where he served as executive vice president, deputy general manager of the sports marketing practice at the world’s largest independent PR firm.

While at Edelman, Norris served on their executive committee and directed sports marketing, sponsorship consulting and strategic communications programs on behalf of blue chip brands including Cub Cadet, Yard-Man, Burger King, Shell Oil, Office Depot, Microsoft, The Boeing Company, Target, UPS, Got Milk?, Golf Pride, Bayer, Sears, Yum! Brands, NIKE, Kraft Foods and Nabisco among others.

He also acted as consultant to numerous leagues, teams, and players’ associations, such as MLB, MLBPA, NHLPA, Chicago Shamrox (NLL), and Dale Earnhardt, Inc. (DEI).  Norris helped create Columbia College’s Creative Sports Marketing department while serving as an adjunct professor.  He also is a member of the Golf Writers Association of America (GWAA).
