Ketel One Vodka Pays Tribute to Arnold Palmer's Accomplishments

ALISO VIEJO, Calif., (March 10, 2008) -- Ketel One Vodka, the official sponsor of the World Golf Hall of Fame, will provide consumers with a behind-the-scenes peek at the life and career of Arnold Palmer with a traveling "mini-museum" and hospitality area - "The Arnold Palmer Pavilion" - that celebrates the career and success of the legend himself. The Pavilion will travel to premier spots along the PGA TOUR, appropriately making its debut at the Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by MasterCard in Orlando, Fla., and will feature an abundance of Arnold Palmer memorabilia.
The Arnold Palmer Pavilion will boast a wide range of memorabilia that tells the story of the golf legend's life. It will include golf memorabilia from Palmer's personal collection, including his golf bags from the 1963 Ryder Cup and 1981 Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by MasterCard, and other miscellaneous golf-related items. The Pavilion will also feature non-golf memorabilia including pieces that showcase Palmer's passion for aviation, such as historical photographs, outfits and an old flight log. Additionally, the Pavilion will display Palmer games such as "The Arnold Palmer Family Golf Game," dating back to the 1960s and the unique Vigor Whirl fitness tool that Palmer used and endorsed. Tweove historical photos capturing the excitement and success of Palmer's golf career blown up to 5' x 7' will be free-standing throughout the Pavilion.
Tying into the upcoming 2008 Presidential elections, a special display case will be dedicated to Palmer's relationships with numerous U.S. Presidents. Items include a personal letter from President Dwight D. Eisenhower, as well as photos of Palmer with Bill and Hillary Clinton and George W. and Laura Bush, among others. The display will also include a pin created by Golf Digest endorsing Arnold Palmer for President in 1988.
