TASK
Create a unique experience for 450 of Nike’s Direct to Consumer employees that encompasses team building and innovative thinking at a one-of-a-kind venue in Portland. In addition, manage a 5K run for all participants on the Nike World Headquarters Campus.
SOLUTION
We created “The Nike Challenge,” a competition spread out over 36 holes at the Reserve Vineyards and Golf Club. Teams of five participants competed in a variety of challenges built around a golf concept. Each “hole” consisted of a different activity, including frisbee throws, football relays, soccer kicks, paintball and a putting challenge. The day concluded with the top-rated food carts in Portland coming together to provide dinner on-site at The Reserve for all of the participants.
RESULT
According to post event surveys, “The Nike Challenge” received the most positive response rate ever tallied for the event.
